Warrior AIRslide 3.0

We’re excited to kick off our very first “Saturday Spec Spotlight” featuring AIRslide 3.0 which comes on the Warrior R/G6 leg pad line. Warrior is known for its innovative approach to equipment design and has spent a significant amount of time (and R&D resources) looking at how to optimize the butterfly slide. Their AIRslide 3.0 system is comprised of 3 primary features. (1) A strategically designed channel system which is angled for optimal sliding on rough ice. (2) HD internal foams throughout the entire inner gusset reduces compression against the ice when sliding. (3) The New SlidePlate (Polycarbonate) creates a super slick sliding surface over the knee portion of the pad which bears the most force/weight of a butterfly slide. Given how fast it can make pads slide, Warrior has made the plate removeable for anyone who thinks it is too much speed to harness. Don’t worry if that is you though, the other aspects of AIRslide 3.0 (Features 1 &2) still make the R/G6 the fastest sliding Warrior leg pad to date even without the SlidePlate. Of all the exciting gear dropping this year, the AIRslide 3.0 puts the R/G6 line at the top of our list of lines to check out in 2022.
